The Colour of Spiders

One big difference between over here and over there is the spiders. There so many spiders where ever you may be but over here they can be so colourful (or colorful)

The most visible spider in the yard right now is the Orchard Orbweaver (Leucauge venusta).

They are in every available plant, hanging upside down in their frankly pretty scruffy webs waiting for what ever may come by. The first thing catches your eye is the metallic orange spot. And when you get down there and look close they are wonders of glowing color.
